This project marks Mitsui & Co.’s first large-scale renewable energy (RE) initiative in India. It is also the country’s first Round-The-Clock (RTC) project, delivering stable, 24-hour electricity from multiple renewable power sources. In collaboration with our local partner, we are developing a hybrid system combining wind power, solar power, and battery storage.
Our staff have been dispatched to India to oversee project management, monitor the status of each plant, and resolve issues. Working closely with the on-site team and various stakeholders, they are actively engaged in day-to-day operations.
As the construction phase enters its final stage, it’s rewarding to witness the completion of each facility one by one. While we take pride in how far we’ve come, we remain fully committed to contributing to the continued progress of this project without letting up.
