Mitsui & Co. Engineering Partners Ltd. (MCEP) was established in April 2026 as a new company, bringing together professional human resources with technical expertise who have been working within the Mitsui Group. MCEP was established to develop and operate the wide-ranging projects of the Mitsui Group around the world with the whole group working as an integrated team.

Various projects undertaken globally by the Mitsui Group require high-level expertise across diverse fields throughout the business life cycle, including feasibility studies, engineering, procurement, and the construction (EPC) of various plants, operations and maintenance (O&M), business management, and business value evaluations. To meet these needs, our company is composed of experts who are highly skilled in their respective technical fields.

As the global situation, social environment, and industry structure undergo rapid changes, the projects undertaken by the Mitsui Group around the world are becoming increasingly diverse and complex. Consequently, the technical expertise required for individual projects is also becoming more advanced. To respond to this effectively, MCEP was established as a new venture, bringing together professionals who have been involved in various Mitsui Group projects and who therefore possess exceptional technical knowledge.

The roles we are expected to play will only become more significant in the future as the Mitsui Group continues to expand its business, further enhance the quality of its assets, and strategically recycle those assets.
